  1. Founded

    Monuhorpur Anwarul Uloom Madrasa opens its doors in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

    Monuhorpur Anwarul Uloom Madrasa opens its doors in Sylhet.

  3. First external Ijazah

    Graduates begin receiving Ijazah chains from scholars in Deoband and Nadwa.

  4. Boarding wing added

    Residential wing welcomes students from across Moulvibazar district.

  5. First Hifz graduates

    The first cohort of Hifz students complete memorisation of the Qur'an.

  6. Dars-e-Nizami completed

    Full Dars-e-Nizami curriculum established with senior scholars teaching Hadith.

  7. Boarding expansion

    Student boarding capacity grows to over 100, serving rural Sylhet.

  8. Boarding capacity doubles

    Dormitory expansion lets the madrasa serve 200+ students year-round.

  9. Orphan sponsorship programme

    Dedicated sponsorship channel for orphans begins.

  10. Masjid rebuilt

    Rebuilding of the on-site masjid completes with community donations.

  11. Qurbani fulfilment programme

    Annual Qurbani shares from the UK diaspora distributed to Sylhet families.

  12. Anwarul Uloom London Ltd incorporated

    UK parent entity established; charity application begins.

    Anwarul Uloom London Ltd registers as a company limited by guarantee.

  14. Masjid expansion launches

    Extension of the prayer hall begins, doubling capacity.

  15. Trilingual platform launched

    Donors, students and visitors get a site in English, Bangla and Arabic.
